hog4oc
I have 2005 SS with Bose CD system but no xm radio. I'm thinking add a XM radio. I don't want to use FM transmitter for my XM radio and I want to put the XM radio at the space above the cigaretee lighter. Anyone has done this and maybe post some picture? What kind of hardware should I get and how much the label will be? Cheers
Jonmalibuss
Why not see about getting the dealer to install it?

Black03SS_NJ
Just get a Myfi, it comes with a built-in recorder and car kit. That way you can have the best of both worlds. I'd rather have a MYfi than my factory-installed XM. Check it out here:XM Myfi Edited June 20, 2005 by Black03SS_NJ (see edit history)
GUNNER
Gm sells a factory kit to add xm radio. Goto GM accessories it should be there. Part number 12498768 not sure if it is compatible with the Bose. Edited June 21, 2005 by GUNNER (see edit history)
tonman316
Has anyone here added the factory kit. Is this something that I can install myself or does the dealer need to program it?
