UW-Husky
I am looking to get a supercharger for my '05 SS and I was curious what will get me the most bang for my buck. Also, what other mods will I need to make in order for the supercharger to work (ie MSD, injectors, chips etc.).
SuperSport
i would do a vortech supercharger, headers, stall convertor & shift kit. to start
zippy
i can give you a recomendation, but it's kinda important to know what the truck's uses are. what kind of work do you do with the truck?
UW-Husky
I want it to be streetable, but with enough power to get some real excitement. I have a Procharger on a 383 in my 96 T/A, and right now my SS feels too much like a truck.
zippy
streetable was never the question. why would you use anything else? do you tow with it? haul heavy loads? is fuel milage a concern? is this a daily driver? nevermind....

BenKey
If you want better speed at the track, go with a centrifugal - Vortech, ATI. If you want more fun on the street, go with a Radix. Not 100% sure of the other kits, but Radix comes complete. Tune, injectors, extra fuel pump, etc...

tbyrne
I just did some reading in that thread. VERY good info if your thinking about forced induction!
UW-Husky
I guess 'streetable' is kind of a given. I use this as my daily driver and I don't tow anything heavier than a waverunner. THanks for the posting of that previous thread...it pretty much answered my question.
Wizard
Hey UW Husky, I am assuming you live in Wa state. If you do PM me and you can take a ride in my Procharged truck and make a decision. Wiz
