slyder7 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 I HAVE A 2003 SS, I HAVE NOTICED SINCE THE DAY I GOT IT SOME TIME I CAN STEP ON THE GAS AND SHE HAULS ASS, OTHER TIMES I STEP ON THE GAS SHE TAKES OFF SLOW AND SMOOTH, I LIKE HAULING ASS BETTER DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THIS WOULD HAPPEN, ALSO AT FREEWAY SPEEDS I FIND IT TO BE SLUGISH MAYBE THAT IS THE WAY THEY ARE I DONT KNOW.....YOUR HELP WOULD BE GREAT AARON Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

zippy Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 start by turning off your CAPS LOCK... more than likely you're experiencing some huge IAT differences. the stock timing table is pretty weak and if you pull timing when it's hot out because of the intake air temperatures it does nothing but get slower. i agree with gettng a new pcm tune.
