Bowtie70SS Posted July 18, 2005 Report Share Posted July 18, 2005 I was on the way home form Indy with visions of the Chicago Street outlaws in my brain, when suddenly I saw them. Shriners? No...A circus in town? No (I didn't see any clown makeup). I thought they were lost, or took a wrong turn from the parade route, but then I remembered. It was British car day at Edgewater dragstrip. Those little Briggs and Stratton powered fart wagons were everywhere. They were in the fast lane and had to pass on the right. I doubt they'll even do 80. I had to weave in and out as most of those guys were busy looking for their Grey Pupon or something. It was also pretty funny watching them scramble under the overpasses to put their tops up.
