SURF Posted September 10, 2005 Report Share Posted September 10, 2005 I am currently thinking about replacing my brakes on my 1999 Silverado (NBS). Mine look horrible there all rusted and ugly (lol). i want some that look real nice and that wont rust up for a good price, please post some pics or links if you have anything in mind. also are the silverado ss brakes any different that brakes on a stock silverado if so would they fit. Bowtie70SS Posted September 11, 2005 Report Share Posted September 11, 2005 Yes they are. The SS rotors are thicker and the pads are longer...it also has dual piston rear calipers. Also the Silverado rotors are about $40 each and the SS rotors are $99 each. Do a little searching in suspension and brake tech.
