The code is described as, DTC P0446 EVAP Vent Solenoid Valve Control System. The first time the dealer said it's probably a loose gas cap but the second time, today, they're alittle more vague. tawss04 Posted September 27, 2005 Report Share Posted September 27, 2005 the vent solenoid my be stuck I've replaced many of them when I worked at the dealer. When Gm went to this body in 99 they placed the solenoid right between the cab and bed on the frame and when it rained they filled the fuel tanks up with water, they have moved the, but moisture does get in to them and cause them to stick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
