orlando
Is there enough room in the back for a baby seat?
kowboy
I've transported my little one in his carseat ever since i got my sss. It works best in the middle, as there's not very much room to lean the front seats back if he/she is behind you.
misterp
Check the owner's manual; the truck has several sets of anchor points for car seats. Mr. P.
Bowtie70SS
I regularly transport my 2 and 4 year old. I have a Simpson seat for the 2 year old and a booster for the 4 year old. As long as they don't sit behind me (I'm 6'6) they're ok. Dave

7a7SS
I went with Recaro's Start child seat. It was the only one that did not protrude past the bottom of the extracab seat. The seat's "foot" allows DJ to put his feet on the bottom seat cushion if he so desires. The intergrated speakers in the head of the seat really make for trouble free travel ;) One word of caution, they're a bit pricey but then again DJ's worth it Just hit the internet, a couple sites have them on special right now! cerbomark
If you are talking about the infant seat that sits facing the rear it will fit.Put it in the middle on the rear seat. A child seat and an infant seat ARE different though.

orlando
yep...ive putn 2 car seats and a booster back there...a little but i made it work <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My boy is 3 and uses the larges seat. Is the rear as big as the 06 extended cab silverado? This may be tough selling the idea to the wife? I could alwas bring the seat and install it,but is it the same size as the 03? cadowns
Yes, the interior is the same as an 06 Silverado Ext Cab. CD
Krambo
I have been using a seat for 2 years now. No problems here. I have the simpson one (actually made by Graco). My one daughter likes the seat behind the passenger front seat so she can have access to the cup holder in the x-cab door.
