usmcchevyss
was at the part store today getting an oil filter to change my mothers oil in her civic, and I noticed that they have cabin air filters in the civics too. I know in the caddy's, lincoln's, etc they all have cabin air filters. Does the SSS have a cabin air filter and where is it located. The book said that it did and gave a part number. just wondering about it. Now what really caught my attention was that I happened to glance down the row of the book and saw the tranny filter and it had our trannys listed as an 4L80E....I thought all the SSS had the 4L60E. I looked back to the 04 and 03 and they had the same thing 4L80E AWD for all the SSS. I check a second time and a third and that was the book had listed. It even had Silverado SS 364 6.0L as the title. Just thought I would bring this up, can anyone set them straight? Bryan
misterp
Sorry dude sounds like your reference manual needed proofreading before they printed it. No in-cab filters after 2002 and no we did not get the 80E as standard equipment Mr. P.
