peerson
My wife has a hard time getting into the SS. She has the fiberglass running boards on her Tahoe and wants me to put some on the SS. The only running boards that I will consider are the Bestop (sp), hidden, folding ones. I'm not sure of the spelling. Apparently, they fold up under the truck until a door is opened. Then, they fold out so you can use them. Then fold back up after the door is closed. Anybody here using these? I did a search but couldn't find anything. Thanks, T
mwalls54
Yeah have installed them on a F350. I know the ones i put in were 12 inch drops. They are priced some where in the $1200 range. here are some pics of them installed on a Z71 They tuck very nicly under the truck
CAMPULLER
I was looking into some of these myself for the same wife reason. I question how well it will sit under the lower plastic sides on the SS. I told the my wife it was good exercise for her.

peerson
Are you pretty happy with them? Do you think they are of a good quality and will be reliable? Were they hard to install? The only fitment issue I was wondering about was the clearance of the SS' Body Cladding. Their website doesn't list an application specifically for the Silverado SS. They DO list the Avalanche, though. They are very pricey, too! Thanks! T
mwalls54
My buddy loves them. They bolted up pretty easy but the wiring was kinda difficult but with a meter and service manual it was fairly easy to figure out. I will say they will fit with the cladding on for sure.
