Ron's SS Posted April 13, 2006 Report Share Posted April 13, 2006 On my ride to work this morning, I was sitting at a red light next to a G6 GTP... I noticed him checking out the SS, so I was kinda ready just incase. I've been wanting to run one with the 3.9, 240 HP motor. Well at the green I heard a little tire squeal and I got a late jump but put 1 1/2 trucks on him by 50 MPH. Bam, another red light. This time I see him engage the tap shift mode on the column and I could hear a little brake torque. Sooo I did the same. Again the green and I got a good jump, 1+ trucks on the launch. He spun a little. This time we went to 70 and I had about 2 to 2 1/2 trucks on him easy. The next light he was making a left and rolled his window down to compliment my truck, I did the same and we both sat there with a big old All I have is the Volant and synthetics, so I was pleased with the runs. Time for more mods so I kick his a$$ real bad next time... Thought I would let you all know how those cars do against the SS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
