tk68 Posted April 20, 2006 Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 I was looking at the SS tonight and noticed that the clearcoat seems to be flaking/peeling on the box, just behind the cab. Jonmalibuss Posted April 20, 2006 Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 They will most likely not covr something like that under warranty but it's always worth a try! If they don't what can be done is the area can be wet sanded untill all of the flaking clear coat is gone and feathered out smooth so you don't see any more flaking or hard edges and then spray a high quality automotive clear over the entire area let dry then wet sand and buff.
