misterp
Which 3M Finesse it did you use, 1, 2, or 3?Sorry I told you guys wrong; the label reads 3M Perfect-It II foam Polishing Pad Glaze - Dark, 05996. I then followed with Imperial Hand Glaze, 39007. Mr. P. Edited November 24, 2006 by misterp (see edit history)
OneBadSSS
Can you use this stuff in conjunction with an acrylic sealer or do you have to use carnuba wax?
misterp
Can you use this stuff in conjunction with an acrylic sealer or do you have to use carnuba wax?You can use any finishing product you like; what is being shown here is stripping/polishing, the surface has been completely stripped/polished to its virgin clearcoat. I would advise against carnuba waxes on everything but dedicated show vehicles, it evaporates off the surface of the paint in 1-2 weeks. I prefer an acrylic sealant instead (Zaino, Klasse, Der Shiny Stuff). Mr. P.
