Even with the exhaust exiting in front of the passenger rear tire?? I want to make sure it's not too loud with a baby on the way!! But Looks Awesome Either Way!! Got any sound clips?? Jay yeah, its not too bad inside the cab, but i like it loud and think it could be louder. probably too loud to haul a baby around in. sorry, no sound clips yet. I didn't think the 40's were load enough for you on your truck they weren't, but mine is alot louder than yours. still could stand to be louder, but the wife won't have that. i could always be like quick and gut my cats. his truck is too loud even for me if that tells you anything. Stanley Posted November 4, 2006 Report Share Posted November 4, 2006 Well, as some of you know, this is the 3rd aftermarket exhaust i've had on my SS in less than 4months. first exhaust i had was a magnaflow cat-back, dual in, single out. it was nice, but too quiet for me. then i put the corsa sport on. again, very nice system, but too quiet for me. I was talking to Quick online the other day and told him i wasn't happy with my exhaust and he suggested i talk to Jeff at 1st Try Engineering here in Pittsburgh. Well, two days later, i finally got what i've been looking for in a exhaust setup. It consists of 2 Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and all mandrel bent, stainless steel 2.5" pipe. All TIG welded. here are the pics. man, this thing sounds AWESOME! exactly what i was looking for, and the best part about it is NO DRONE at highway speeds!
