Meegs
I used 1/8" MDF from home depot. they also had automotive carpet and some super sticky aerosal glue...strong stuff. here is a pic. I kept the factory sound/insulation. I did not have the $ching$ for the good stuff. in a few days i'll put the good stuff in there

fox_forma
You got a pic of it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have the MDF under the padding because I didnt rip the pass side vent piece off yet, only did the driver side and it fit in there. Hopefully this weekend I can redo the whole thing to look better
fuganator
I just used a chunk of 3/8" fiber board and seal n' peel caulked it to the back wall. That way there are no screws and it is still holding up strong. If I ever have to take it out, the board should just come off with a little force. Check this pic out...back wall pic
KissMySilvSS
I haven't looked behind the seat of my SS lately, but on my old '03 Silverado I just cut the insulation on the back wall the size of my amp and then bought heavy duty velcro and stuck it to the back wall, never had a problem.
