misterp Posted September 20, 2006 Report Share Posted September 20, 2006 Try smearing vaseline across the front of the hood and grill. The bugs won't stick and eat your paint. Pain to wash off, but easier than bug guts. Used to do this in Jacksonville back in the early 70's. Yea the lovebugs were bad back then too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm glad you posted this, I've read about using vaseline before but did not think it would work Did you just wipe some on with a cotton cloth?
