Pasadena SS
Good idea but it's kind of ugly
SS Silv
Those would look like shit on any vehicle. No need for tire shine though.

montanass
haha... now those are floaters.... need a sidewall to cover them up though...
drako
Intresting, I would like to know a bit of the dynamics. I guess from the looks of it, it would have problem with weight. Cool new thinking....but f%&^^#$ ugly.
air force vm
They are real tires and they have been testing them in Europe for the last few years. I think they are very ugly but its a good idea. I would not buy them and have no need for them but thats just me.
KissMySilvSS
They had an article about those in Truckin' a few months back, I couldn't believe that, weird
tehoatim
I remember seeing those maybe a yyear ago as concepts. I also recall 15 - 20 years ago a concept came out with airless tires, not sure that they will ever go into production since it has potential to eliminate a large amount of economy due to all the manufactures currently producing tires. Kinda like a conspiracy theory where the govenrment would'nt allow it or a cure for cancer or other technology that would have a major affect on the economy. .02 for what it's worth
Dylan06SS
I'm not thinking it could entirely take over the tire market b/c it doesn't look as if that design could effectively protect large rims or rims requireing a low profile tire... but cool thinking. SS_bnoon_SS
I remember seeing those several years ago... Nothing says that the flex sides can't be covered behind a more conventional looking sidewall either. They provide a larger contact patch with less deflection and they give that Audi an almost muscular profile when it's in the hard right hander. ChevyMan23
Those tires are designed to show off the inside...the actual tire does have a sidewall...youd never tell the difference
