Dr Mike Posted October 29, 2003 Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 Due to the manufacturer and it's dealer network not knowing where to look to correct certain deficiencies in model year 2003/2004 Silverado SS and Through extensive feedback from SS.Com members, scientifically performed tests were undertaken by Dr Mike in an attempt to find and has found a cure. If you have any or all the following sympthoms Groaning while turning, Suspension Noises, Exhaust Ping, brake noises, humming from power amp, and all rattles. Dr Mike tested and approved. PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS LISTED BELOW 1- Open truck door and position one self to proper driving postion 2- Attach Seatbelt and ask wife to stop the groaning about how much you paid for the truck. 3- Start vehicle and begin driving as you normally would 4- Listen carefully to try to attempt to see where the noise(s) is coming from 5- Release a few explicit colourful metaphores (If Ozzy can do it so can you) 6- Ensure Bose Sound system is turned on and Ozzy Live at Budokan CD is inserted 7- With Right hand firmly placed on steering wheel Quickly fully depress thumb on to right button marked with + sign ALL Noises* and Rattles guaranteed to dissapear immediately. * exception of wife screaming to you to turn the $@## music down. SSminneapolis Posted October 29, 2003 Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 i had to go aftermarket to drown out the sounds...around 1000 watts cured my problem ...younger woment tend to make more noise..they also do not tend to stick around that long either...
