missouri snow damage

i just pulled this pic off a boating forum i frequent. sounds like there are scenes like this all over the lake of the ozarks. these are tin roofed boat docks, collapsed by the weight of the snow. just thought i'd share.

Poor boats!

 

I stored my nitro bass boat outside last winter and forgot to put the engine in the down position. Snow and freezing rain got into the lower unit seal and destroyed the lower unit prop bearing. Took it out on the lake this spring with realizing what had happened, thus running all of the oil out of the lower unti at 75mph, and shredded the internals of my lower unit. Hello $2,200 repair thanks to my stupidity and winter... :banghead:
