SS Silv
I have seen that happen. My buddies dad is a cop and another friend was playing around with his gun and it went off putting a bullet through the floor.

misterp
When I was 13 one of my mom's church lady friends babysat my sister and I one evening and I cannot for the life of me now remember exactly how the conversation turned onto the subject but she shared with me that when she was 6 she, her older sister, and older brother were downstairs in their home "playing hunter" with their father's 30-06, taking turns role playing with the gun and she said the three of them were having the most fun they'd ever had and during her turn with the rifle she aimed the gun on her brother just like her siblings had done in the prior 15-minutes except this time while it was her turn the gun went off (she must have unknowingly turned off the safety?) and her brother died on the spot. That was a crushingly powerful conversation, she was a very tortured woman. Mr. P.

montanass
Thats poor parenting. Firearms should always be locked up and inaccessable to kids and stupid people. I guess since I was raised around firearms, I always knew what and what not to do... Some people's parents...

Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When my Mom was a kid she came running around the corner of the house and her friends brother had a 12 gauge shotgun. He killed his sister instantly. Some of the pellets hit my mom also. My poor mother (RIP) was always tormented by the thought of that girl lying there kicking like a rabbit. It is heartbreaking that adults aren't smart enough too make sure kids can't get to thier guns. I always tell people "Once that gun goes off, you can't do anything to change what happens". There should never be any "Accidents" with guns.

That two sad stories though, I had a couple of friends from high school, I quit hanging out with them because they started doing stupid things, vandalizing and such. Anyways recently they were all at at friends house (also my friend, actualyl I grew up with all of them knew all thier families etc) They had guns out, apparently its been a hobby to play with the guns not pretend to shoot them but handle them. And just like a the commercials, the gun just went off. Right in front of the guy was his best friend who was playing xbox. The shot went into the back of his head and he crawled, everyone was screaming at the top of thier lungs it was just hell on earth. Its been a tough year... Sorry to hear that. Same family that killed my moms friend many years later. Everybody was hunting together guy hands a 30-30 to my uncles friend and shoots him in the stomach. Poor guy walked into the emergency room but didn't make it. Another guy in that family was murdered. They are a serious bunch of friggin losers just about all of them. (There were 13 kids in that family when my mom was young. The video of the kid with the 45 is fake. hammer is not back on the pistol and the sound and setup are just wrong.
