Jonmalibuss
went to the magnaflow website and found the 3" ceramic cats but the epa engine limit is a 5.2L and the cali carb engine limit is a 5.0L engine. are we s.o.l. or is there another cat for our 6.0+ engines. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So run two in each bank. 4 total

Black2003SS
Here are the ones I have. I had a b!tch of a time fitting them underneath though. I ended up having to put them further back by the trans crossmember. http://www.car-sound.com/02product/display...universal=94109

04CHASE
well here is whatmagnaflow has to say Well if the cats are melted there is something wrong with your car. YourAFR is to rich, therefore dumping raw fuel into the cat and melting it down. Our cats don't just melt for no reason. looks like they really want to help. CoolBlueSS
Make a test pipe, then just get some cheap cats for smog tests. Or can you get away with that in Cali? You could here, because they only test once a year for emissions.

04CHASE
here is what they say after they saw the pictures See our warranty covers 2 year 25,000 miles on the inside and 5 year 50,000 onthe shell. But these aren't our cats. As to looking at the pictures they are defiantly melted down. It really only takes a cat to melt under a minute. 04CHASE
i know for a fact they are magnaflow, the box said magnaflow and the part # stamped on the side also matches magnaflow's part # here is the most recent Take Pictures of the side view of the cats. But the bottom line is that we wontwarranty those cays if they are ours due to the fact that they are melted. That was caused by your vehicle running poorly so i asked him what good would the pictures do me if they arent going to warranty them? i also asked what does the warranty cover, he stated that they woul dtake 3 straight mintues for them to melt under rch conditions and i know they were nto subject to 9to 1 afr for that long. wody
so what exactly does the warranty cover then. how many things could happen to them? if they melted then they melted.
