Stock brakes...

Just got my 03 SS recently and it has 27K on it and I havn't checked them yet.

 

My 00 Z71 your not going to believe it but I had to replace the rear pads at 95,000 the front stock ones are still on the truck at 175,000 and don't yet look 1/2 worn. I can't belive it myself the way I've been driving that truck all these years.

 

It's actually probably going to need rear ones again soon.

I had a 1999 Silverado that I bought new and at 99K the brake pads looked to be about half worn...then I got my SS. :ughdance:

 

 

Yes, me too. I had a 99 half ton of which I towed a 10Klb. trailer for at least 10K mi. I did a full break job at 93K mi. I was very impressed.

:chevy: Almost at 100k miles......still have factory pads!!

You probably get like 18 mpg too? :sigh: Oh well, I guess I have a problem w/ my driving habits....

lol., no I get about 17 at best, as long as I stay under 75mph hwy. PCM4 less tune really helped.
