11,000 dollars in one day.........holy shit!!! :nono:

Yeah the worst part is he spent it all at a mall and at the airport stores on cd's and crap like that,I was like how do you spend $11000 on all that in one day? I know I could spend that much on parts in one day but then I would be divorced,or worse :nono:

Might want to consider booby-trapping your wallet to spray MACE or something the next time you leave it in your toolbox.

I feel your pain, what pissed me off is that nobody even laid a hand on my card, somehow they swiped my information off the internet and duplicated my card  Thats why they canceled all our cards and are issuing us new account #'s.

this is why you never use your debit card online.

if someone steals the debit card, they can take all they want

if they steal your credit card, you're only liable for 50 bucks

No sure about the debit card part. My business debit card # was stolen. We got a new card and our money back. Bank shut the card down fast. We never used the card but Bank said they might have guessed the number by going through AOL or soemthing like that. The card was never once used or taken out of the house. Theives are good these days. :banghead:

I came home yesterday to find the wife on the phone with one of the credit card companies discussing how one of our credit cards got stolen.I was like WTF :mad:I guess somehow someone got one of our card #'s,fabricated a duplicate and went around swiping every credit card reader he could find! The worst part about it is that after charging up over $11,000 dollars in one day the only person who asked for an I.D. or questioned him was at the airport on southwest airlines when he went to pick up a ticket to miami that he bought with our card. The woman at southwest airlines called my wife to see if she had bought a ticket for a man that said he was her husband but had a different last name!?! How stupid are some people :banghead: Well our credit card company said that we are not liable for the charges but we had to go over all of our purchases for the last couple months. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but this is the same card that is linked to my paypal account on ebay,Just kind of makes me wonder. Well the only downfall is we have no cards for a couple of weeks while they change all of our account #'s.Damn-no ebay for a couple weeks.

don't want to jack your thread too much but i got some more details on my c.c. issue. i did my own p.i. work today and found out that my c.c. was swiped three times between 9:07 pm and 9:18 pm lastnight at bolder station hotel and casino. well tonight my work calls me to tell me that the same guy i suspected stole my card was bragging that he won 2400 bucks last night at...........bolder station. so heres what im thinking i take him to court as soon as i have the smoking gun and take that 2400 right back from him under some legal mumbo jumbo, like identity theft or some other charges, or i may just skip the court deal and just beat the shit out of him im not sure which would be more satisfying. i would imagine taking all his money away so that he has to live in a cardboard box would take the cake though.
