creederado
Hello, I was wondering Two things, 1)how much differant is the SS rear leaf spring set up VS on a Z71 03 sierra? The z71 has a block and leafs. Are the leafs differant? 2)Another question how much higher/lower is the SS compared to a Stock 2WD Silverado Thanks My other Truck http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/creederad...otos.yahoo.com/
zippy
if i recall correctly (although i can check), the ss and z71 share the same leaf spring set. the ss should be around the same height as a 2wd with the exception of the height difference from the tall tires. SSilverado60
yeah they use the same spring, but the z71 and all other 4x4s have a 1.5 or 2" block stock
Import Hater
I just learned this myself recently. I thought I'd be so smart and level out my 2wd by putting the SS leafs on. Leafs are the same part number. Shackles are the same too. But the rear of my truck is definitely higher, so I gotta go look underneath mine and an SS side by side to see where the lift is. SuperDave
Is it the rear shackle or a spacer block? Or is the difference the spring above the axle instead of below?
