adams2003
Will a yank 3000 shorten the life span of my transmission or lengthing it. I currently have a vortech supercharger/intercooler, superchip programmer and a magnaflow exhaust. Im interested in getting one because I also have a problem with slow shifts from 1st to 2nd and so on. What else should I do to beef up my transmission without making it unreliable. zippy
as with any converter change, i recomend a shift kit and minimum corvette style servo. the 3000 stall will work fine in a truck not being used for any heavy type work.
adams2003
What kind of shift kit? Where would I get it?
zippy
i normally use superior kit's, but transgo is the most common. tbyrne or nelson performance should be able to hook you up.
BenKey
Get the Transgo-HD kit. Comes with the corvette servo.

zippy
yes, it will still make a difference. i'd recomend getting rid of the factory progrmaming though. torque managment doesn't like a shift kit.
