Where you get a thin metal sleeve that goes over the pinion and gives the seal a new surface to seal against. Did you ever change your diff fluid? I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Mine has 75K on it no leaks no grinding and I'm lowered. Guess I'm lucky in one respect. Dave Yours must be made of that denser alloy I've been hearing about ... I was only able to get this seal from the dealer, even my local AC Delco parts store did not carry it. The GM part # is 12471590 and i paid about $9 for it. My dealer had it in stock.
