SilveradoSS04
What's the best supercharger for the silverado ss? I always thought that ati procharger was the best, but I just read where a guy had problems with his and it was new! I see alot of guys running the radix. What the best #of boost to go with?Am I better off to go with the bottle? Thanks for the help guys.
Viperkiller97
IMHO Go with the bottle if you rarely race , The supercharger if you race alot .The bottle is a heck of a lot cheaper , but bottle fills do add up It all depends on your needs , will you track it ?? Or just stoplight to stoplight ??

zippy
this question is becoming as common as the exhaust question on camaro's. it's like an everyday thing. i must be missing something.
tbyrne
The RADIX kit is by far the most popular supercharger for the SS. It will give you about a 130hp gain to the rear wheels. The main thing to ask yourself when deciding between nitrous and a supercharger is when do you want the extra horsepower? If you just want an added boost at the track nitrous would be a good way to go. If you want to feel the extra power all of the time a supercharger will be able to provide you with that. SilveradoSS04
Thanks for the help. I'm gonna stoplight it and track it. lol MN C5! If i go with ATI, is 8 #'s of boost too much?
smithl3
I guess not since SSilverado60 has an ATI with D-1SC pushing 10 lbs of boost. He has some maintenance on his system to do, but it has held together for him so far, that I know of ??
