OneBadSSS Posted April 19, 2007 Report Share Posted April 19, 2007 I have a factory sunroof in my SSS and I wanted to get the SoCalDiesel gauge pod, but it doesn't fit the smaller console that the sunroof trucks are equipped with. So I decided to modify my console to accept the SoCalDiesel gauge pod and, after some bondo fiberglass body repair and body filler, a lot of sanding and shaping and several coats of auto primer/scratch filler, here's what I ended up with (keep in mind it still needs to be painted with auto interior trim paint for the perfect color match!): Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To be perfectly honest, this was my first time doing something like this!! It really wasn't that hard, just took my time and didn't settle for anything less than the best I felt I was capable of... I regret that I didn't make a "how to" out of this project, but I did it at work and I didn't have my digital camera with me.
