cadowns
Tim, I know what you and your family is going through. I lost my mother last year in January. You are wise to ask for prayers, as that is what will make the difference and get you to the other side of this. It will take time, and give it time and space, as the wounds will heal. You will not forget, but come to a place where you can be happy knowing the suffering is over. Stand close to your Dad, you will strengthen each other. There is no reason the walk alone. Thanks for letting us be a part of your pain. Chuck
Big O
Thank you all for your comments and prayers. There is absolutely no doubt she was placed in heaven. She and my father had busted their tails their entire life to live the way they wanted, they had the papers in order to retire in the next 2 years and do all the things they worked so hard to enjoy the life they had made. My father is a wreck and can't believe she missed out on 30 years of enjoyment. It is easy to be selfish and want her here next two us, but the really tough part is that she doesn't get to enjoy the easy part of her life, raising grandbabies, relaxing at the cabin, fishing, atving, and all the little things she scaraficed for her entire life. I know she will be watching over all of us as we strive to make her proud, but I just wish she could have enjoyed the benifits of all her hard work over the years. Once again thank you all for listening, praying, and all the kind words. We really appreciate it. ---TIM

drako
I just wish she could have enjoyed the benifits of all her hard work over the years. She is enjoying it, her family is happy, in love and growing. She knows she raised great children that became great people. She watching over you now and enjoying every minute of it. She is at peace now, celebrate the life she had, it was not something she left behind.

perk03z06
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose my mother. I get chills just thinking about it. My condolences to you and your family. Best wishes of strength and hope during this very difficult time.
