hacker522 Posted August 25, 2007 Report Share Posted August 25, 2007 Just got my truck and right now Im seeing 12.5.... what kind of gas mileage are u guys seeing? ive got a custom tune, single chamber flowmasters and volant intake. im getting 13 mpg and i think that is alittle too low. any suggestions? busterz Posted August 27, 2007 Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 Got 17.6 mpg last weekend on a long trip that was like95% interstate driving (2 1/2 tanks of gas), that's the best I've done with mine. Erwin8r Posted September 4, 2007 Report Share Posted September 4, 2007 On a recent trip to Phoenix, I averaged 16 MPG at about 80 MPH (some stretches I set the cruise at 85, on others, at 75, depending on the environment, enforcement likelihood, etc.). Around town, if I'm a bit agressive on the throttle, I see as low as 11.5, but under "normal" circumstances, I see around 13. Combined there and back I avg. 16.4 mpg hwy doing 96 mph there and 75 on the way back. I reset the avg. miles on the fwy on the way out there and haven't touched it yet.
