Hankg42
Are these K&N Filters an actual replacement filter everytime you change the oil? It's a regular spin on replacement filter. I think the part number I use is 1007.

Like do I need to replace it every 3000 miles when using synthetics or will they last longer?

I replace it every 3000 miles, and also use Mobil 1 5W-30.
cadillacbob
I use the mobil 1 filter with Mobil synthetic...When my oil life gets to about 25%...Costs a few bucks more...But it was a $41k truck...Can't drive an SS for 'hooptie' money...lol

But I want this truck to last a LONG time. You know what the commercial used to say, "You can pay me now, or pay me later." I'd rather be safe now, and pay a few extra bucks, than have a big hit later on.
