onstar and boose inverter?

hey guys im tryen to put in a totally new system in my ss the guy whos doin it is tellen me i need some kind of inverter,, but i dont use onstar do i still need this, i plan on installing a 2 channel with two type r subs a four channel with 4 inside speakers my sirius radio and that flip out screen head unit.. he chargeing me 600$ for every thing not the compponets of course... is this a good deal or am i geting screwed. also what are you opinions of the boose system should i leave the stock intereior or replace them???? plase hlp ....thanks guys

if you plan on never using on-star then you can go without that converter, it just silences your radio and uses your speakers for the audio. I got a pioneer N3 installed and went with the on-star and steering wheel modules to keep every thing functional. No bose module needed if you are not going to use the stock amp and sub, they are junk anyway!
