  3. paid 36k and some change..... no rear disc brakes.... doesn't have the MAX TRAILERING package +1300= 4:10 gears and upgraded rear axle w/disc brakes
  4. took forever to find a 4x4 v-max in so-cal got this one out of L A
  5. it feels a bit slower then my 06 v max, maybe because of the 3.73 gears

  9. if u plan on drag racing then dont get the KFX, just doesnt have the power as the others even after mods pm me for more info.............
  10. got the kawi too.... but if you really want power go with a raptor 700, EFI and reverse, endless power upgrades mine has intake, exhaust,efi controller, 11:1 piston and hotcams stage 2,(1400$).... it beats 85% of the bikes up olds....only stroked 450's or built banshee's can catch it.....all that and it is reliable!!!!!! not one issue in 2 years, id rather ride my 700 then push a banshee!!!
  11. time for a new battery! 4 good years and now its time to go...........you will always get a small amount of dimming when the fans come on at first just no one notices (who runs their AC at night?) unless u live in the southwest
  12. i get about 9mpg round trip to glamis (500 mi.) w/10k loaded. the 4.10 gears help a lot. would it ever shift into 4th? that good for 1-2 mpg
  13. 29ft who let you buy that with a 1500 v-max? or did you already have it? that is well over the recommended gvwr
  14. with my v-max im maxed out with my 2100fb superlite loaded to the hilt, but i like my set up and dont plan on getting a bigger trailer any time soon....bigger trailer=bigger truck

  16. i was inrolled in the VW program but decided to take an offer from CROWN LIFT TRUCKS in ontario calif. been there for 5 and a half years now many of my co-workers went to benz, jaguar,vw,and ford fact at first but got tired of the politics and BS at the dealers
  17. congrats, but i heard it was like 25k now, i graduated is april 2002 well worth the 14k at the time. i just regret being so young (17 at start) and not taking it seriously enough.......which one/location are you going to?
  18. a couple of years ago (before ever even thinking about buying my current truck) i raced a Black(i think)SSS in hemet ca down flordia ave. from the dealerships toward perris,I was in my 02 turbo jetta, silver. this guys truck was fast, high 13's and was my initial insperation for getting my v-max. after we hit 100mph i thought WTF arent those governed at 100, talked to the guy shortly.... i guess not.....sound familure to any one here....thanks for the insight that truck can be fast tooo
  19. i met up with a couple dodge guys from their forum a couple of years ago when the srt 10 first came out, this one guy had a yel.sbrc 6spd srt10 and ran 13.4 @ 105 i just laughed. i was running 13.4 in my 70dodge d100 w/318/P.O.S. motor w/100shot on stock 215 futura tires...40k vs 4k
