.justin. Posted August 20, 2007 Report Share Posted August 20, 2007 how do fuel trims get reset? We only have the capability to log and nothing else on my truck as far as I know. Or is it just unhooking battery so the PCM resets itself? The fuel trims are constantly learning, and if there was a significant "repair", it would show up almost immediately. The trims can be reset via the Scan tool in either the LS1/LS6 control panel or the Long Term Fuel Trim Cells window. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CoolBlueSS Posted August 24, 2007 Report Share Posted August 24, 2007 Sounds to me like a regulator problem. Maybe stuck closed not letting fuel return, causing a higher than normal FP.
