TruckinSS05
Hey all, Just wanted to give a heads up for those who do not know that the replacement steering shaft for all of our CLUNKS has been issued. It came out in Feb. of this year and I have personally had it installed with great results!!! NO CLUNK! Yes, I know some already know this, but this is for those who do not. Hope this helps.... BlownFogger540
Well just had mine done 3 months ago, it is supposed to be a new part design so they tell me, before that all they could do is a grease kit which only lasts about 3 months then its back So I bitched at them big time to do it rite this time and they covered it under warranty a year out of almost

However, mine was under warranty so all I had to do was sign and drive!
dancar
I just had my 03 fixed again. First time was 2 years ago. They covered it again under warranty. I called customer relations and they talked to the dealer and it got fixed at no charge to me. I have 29k miles on it now.

gregor45
Had mine done about 6 months ago, no problems whatsoever. The new shaft actually works!
Rays B4U
gmpartsdirect.com has them for $54.54+12.00 S&H=$66.54, and from what I hear it's not too difficult to install. Think I just might have to order me one seeings how everyone that has the new one says it is the final fix.
