Luke
Well, I finally took off all my mods (intake, T-stat, PCM), so I can sell my SSS. Will I have to do the relearn process? I dumped some coolant while changing the thermostat, so I didn't have enough to start it up last night. I've heard that if the PCM has been in that vehicle before the relearn is not necessary. What else will the PCM have to relearn? Edited August 29, 2007 by Luke (see edit history)

What else will the PCM have to relearn? Did you buy a new PCM that got tuned and just kept the stock PCM? If so I don't see why the stock PCM would need to relearn anything. JF-03-SS
No relearn required. I have swapped mine back and fourth several time w/ no problems (except the loss of power w/ the stock PCM )
Luke
You guys were right. It started right up w/o hesitation. I took it for a test drive and you can really tell the difference. With the stock tune the shifts are so soft now (I had most all TQ management removed).
