Flex-a-lite makes a nice set up for these trucks......

If you plan to do it and have LS1 edit, it makes for a nice deal to hook them up through the PCM. Pin# 42 on the blue connector, I have a ton of pig tails if you all need one.

Here is the link to Flex-a-lites web site: http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/chevy...size-truck.html

I used the 282's.

I had LT1 fans on my 99 truck. They are the same width as the LS1 fans. It kept my truck cool, but the SS has a larger radiator core. I don't think the LS1 / LT1 fans will be a good fit.

I'm also using the flex-a-lite 282 fans. The fit and finish install of the fans looks like a factory install. Very good kit.

I goofed ! I have the 295,s those are made for the 28 inch radiator. The e-fans will not only cool better, they get that clutch fan off of the motor. On a hot day that fan is like a parachute on the engine. I noticed a BIG improvement over the stock clutch fan.

427: Pin# 42 on the blue plug puts out a ground. LS1Edit is needed to "turn" the fan function on.
