evandostert
Hid lighting is cheap now. Look on e-bay 175-150 shipped. The new gen 2 units are plug and play. Swap out bulbs, connect stock conector to ballast run a + - you are about done.
zsamboki
The projector itself is really cheap. i had bought a set years ago for my old Tahoe. The inside of the projector isn't really all that reflective. If you take out your bulb and look inside, you will see what I am talking about. I tried putting in HID's, which made it better, but still down back roads it sucked majorly. What I ended up doing is getting a pair of BMW projectors and retro fitting them in with the factory HID's. If you want more info on tis kind of stuff, go to www.hidplanet.com in the forum there you can read up on how to retro fit and also there you can find out about all these aftermarket projector headlights (how much tjey suck) Hope it helps
