keebler85
what is the bare minimum that i will need to burn out? or just a simple tire spin?
cadowns
I see that you have an 03 SS which will be AWD. To do a AWD burn out you will need about 450 + HP to break traction on all wheels. It can be done as you turn, but puts a lot more stress on the front drive train. CD

rivierakid55
sell your awd and buy a used 2wd. price shouldnt be that much higher for a used 2wd than what yours is worth assuming normal condition and mileage.
allballz57
How about a higher stall converter and a 150 shot out of the hole, and maybe a switch to 18" rims and smaller tires. All this can be had for about half of the price of a used blower. How come you want to burn out so bad?
keebler85
to be able to in a AWD truck, no other reason

dawgbone
that's funny..... I hate to be the ball buster...but to be able to spin up all 4's...you are going to have to caugh up some dinero... and to fix everything that you broke...you are going to have to caugh up some dinero...so you can do it again.... my best advice is to go out into a grass field...tow-mode in 1st....and have fun http://flemdawg.com/Movies/SS.wmv Edited October 19, 2007 by dawgbone (see edit history)
Black2003SS
Sell the SSS and go buy an F-body with a manual trans... I have $7k in my truck with a blower and it barely barks the tires leaving the line.
