mr breze Posted November 24, 2007 Report Share Posted November 24, 2007 According to www.mmaweekly.com, Matt Serra suffered a herniated disc in his lower back this week and will not be able to defend his title against Matt Hughes. No estimates as to when he'll return to action or who, if anyone, Hughes will face. Karo Perisian is looking for a title shot, maybe Dana will look at letting him fight Hughes and the winner can fight Serra for the title. Who knows? mr breze Posted November 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2007 Just announced yesterday, Matt Hughes will fight Geoege St. Pierre in Dec. for the interim welterweight title. After Serra recuperates he will face the winner to unify the title. He isn't real crazy about this idea and says he wants Hughed to win so he can fight him.
