Prior to my HIDS I had Silverstars, when I installed my HIDS I had to adjust them lower because they were way brighter and I got pulled over a couple times. montanass Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 Before i put my HID's in I was running silverstars, and I got flashed all the time, now i rarely do with the HID's and I made no adjustments to the lights. I did notice that the HID's throw the light in different directions and weren't shining down the road as much. misterp Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 When I lived in CA we would aim the fog lights to light-up the road about 1/2-way between the truck and the low-beam focal point, and over to the right-hand side to illuminate the fog line. FireRescueSS Posted December 13, 2007 Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 I had a car (usually are cars) kept flashing me, and I got stock light bulbs, but I got tired of it, and quickly pulled and held the flash to pass level, and turned on my PIAA's.. that changed their mind....
