DanY
I have a general question on the SS's AWD system. OK, I know we have a locking rear diff and a viscous coupling in the transfer case for front/rear torque split. What is the setup in the front differential? Is the front differential some sort of limited slip from side to side? If so is it a clutch type or a mechanical locker? I'm only familiar with the 4WD in my old S-10. As soon as the 4WD was engaged, you got the growing and jumping when doing sharp turns at low speed on dry pavement. I was wondering how AWD differed.
