brobradh77
I found a 90mm TB for $150 and found this harness for $70 I am unsure if this will work or not. Scroll down a little and its there, J-tube is another issue I know WCCH does a swap but I cant send him mine first and where do y'all get the new air intake tube from as well? Thanks I did a search and struck out. http://www.gmcopo.com/engineswap.htm I found this full conversion and if I read it right i get $260 back when they recieve my J-tube full conversion for $560 doesnt sound bad http://www.proheads.com/specials.html Edited March 2, 2008 by brobradh77 (see edit history)

supersub
They don't open 100% or they don't work good? Its more involved than just blade position.this wiring adapter is completly different than the speartec.wrong t/b's to start with. Black2003SS
Brad, I believe that the cost of the kit is $824 and then you have to pay $260 for a core charge that is refunded when you return your core jtube. So you will still be out $824 for the kit. Is that kit everything we need to do the conversion? I understand you have to remove the blower from the truck to get it done. After talking to chase about that kit he said the same thing you did and that maakes since. I think you would have to remove the blower because i bet it would be tough to get to the screws with it on there.

2004gibbstruck
I'm planning on doing this conversion too. It seems like the WCCH deal would be foolproof, right? Are all 90mm throttle bodies the same? The reason i ask is because i'm looking at one from an 08 escalade and wanted to make sure it would work. I saw the core charge in the first one but it also comes ported and polished. Would that not be better deal for only $35 more? I would like to keep my stock TB and J-tube for just incase. Black2003SS
Brad, if you get the WCCH package, it comes with a 90mm TB...why would you need to buy another one? It makes sense to me to jsut buy the turnkey package rather than beat yourself up trying to piece together your own package to save a few dollars?
