PCMFORLESS
It's been a little while since I've been here to the SSS board, but perhaps it is time for a tax season special. Since the price of core PCM's has come down what we have been considering is sell the tunes for $250 and INCLUDING the PCM. Thus you would not have to send back a core and can keep your stock PCM to swap in at any time. For anyone that wanted to send their PCM in for tuning we can discount it to $175 for the tune. We've lost touch with the SSS crowd a bit working on other projects, but figured it might be time to say hello again and offer a special. This is much cheaper than a handheld, and is a better tune. Plus, with having the stock PCM sitting there waiting you can go back to stock at any time just like with the handheld. Shoot us an email if interested and I'll let you know how to get the special pricing. Thanks, Bryan

jlane_87
anyone located in arizona that can tune my ride when i get down there in a month??? and how much? I've been looking for a place here in AZ too, and the only two I have found so far are Pro Dyno and AZ Speed and Marine. Neither have an AWD dyno though. Pro Dyno said they would use a laptop and wideband to tune it, AZ Speed said they sometimes disconnect the front driveline and do it (doesn't sound like thats the best idea to me but whatever). Both about $600. I think when I get mine tuned I might just do a mail order if I cant even get a dyno.

remery3
I'm new to the site as well as my SSS and I have a quick question about PCM and TCS (wanted to start a new thread but need 5 posts first ). I rescued my SSS from a Ford dealer exactly one month ago, today. The first day home, the TCS started acting up and the light would come on, stay on, and not respond to the button. Any of you (especially the praised programmers...zippy, .justin., Wheatley, etc.) know if a bad program will cause the TCS to go nuts? Unfortunately, the Chevy dealer I took it to already raped the PCM that was in it when I bought it. I didn't find out until after the fact, but it was a custom tune by PCM4Less. The dealer mechanic blamed the TCS problem on it, stripped it and replaced it with an OEM PCM with the factory program...TCS is still jacked. I haven't brought it back to Chevy yet because I want to drive the freakin' thing and I use it to tow my boat. Not to mention I'm EXTREMELY frustrated with the difference in performance since they ganked the tuned PCM (which they WILL be paying to replace once the TCS is fixed). It was wide awake when I bought it and now it's just a sleeping beauty. Any help would be much appreciated! Oh, "What's up everyone?!" <-- since this is my first post
brobradh77
welcome to the site...I dunno about the TCS button unless there was something done in the tune because of a mod like a shiftkit or something and without the right tune maybe is making it screwy??? Fireman31
sounds like it could be a bad wheel speed sensor or ABS module BTW-welcome to the site Edited April 11, 2008 by Fireman31 (see edit history)
