Hi there, I have the electronic Helms version on dvd. I have 3 returns available. It is the complete Helms factory book set in a printable and searchable format. It has the complete instructions. It covers the 03-05 SS completely along with all other 98-05 GM vehicles. Every repair instruction is in it. Use what the GM mechanics use. It has extra info that the books don't have like tech bulletins and recall info. $25 shipped. Here are some screenshots of it. You will not be disappointed. PRINT PAGES AS NEEDED!

Ummm yeah these are copies of the GM eSI service manual, there is a bit of fine print here that you guys need to be aware of - it will not install on Windows XP Home :nonod: it requires XP Professional. And I am not sure of compatibility with Windows Vista but I'm sure there are gotchas there. So buyer be informed. That point aside, the eSI manuals are a must-have if you really wrench on your truck, I've found them invaluable especially with the electronics.

Installs fine on XP home, that's what I have myself. Guaranteed to work on Windows 2000, XP Home & Pro, and Vista too.

OK my mistake then, the setup/install issue that I ran into must be specific to this one particular computer.

Steve, don't know if this would apply to XP Home or not, but in Vista Premium Home I have to run it in "compatibility mode" as "administrator".
