I CORNER Posted March 3, 2004 Report Share Posted March 3, 2004 To get adequate lighting in my 1996 Impala SS, I installed the T84 German export glass light enclosures, added a harness with relays and installed the true H4 bulbs in 145W/100W sizes. The bulbs have lasted 2.5 years so far. The beam pattern is correct with good cutoff, but they draw alot of current. Too bad HIDs aren't a direct swap.
