Got A SS Posted February 26, 2004 Report Share Posted February 26, 2004 I have read our trucks are wired for trailer brakes already? Is it just trucks with the trailer package? jeffnjill Posted February 29, 2004 Report Share Posted February 29, 2004 I've got a Reese brake unit, and the harness for the 03 and up was similar to the 99-02 but is wired differently. BE CAREFUL. I got mine at the local camper supply store for 11.13 plus tax. Says part# 3015, just don't know the manufacturer. top left is BLUE, top middle is Black, bottom left is RED, bottom right is WHITE. SinisterSS Posted March 2, 2004 Report Share Posted March 2, 2004 A 2002 or older harness can be used on a 2003 and up Silverado... Switch the wires in cavities A and D.
