FireRescueSS
Searched, kinda surprised that I didn't find anything. Anybody running these tires, or considering it? Not asking for what tires/brands you support, just info/opinions on these.
Fireman31
As far as I have seen, they are decent tires.....we have them on all our Chief's cars, First Responders, and district trucks at the firehouse.
VHO_Tek
As far as I have seen, they are decent tires.....we have them on all our Chief's cars, First Responders, and district trucks at the firehouse. Put two sets of these on customer cars at the shop I work at. No complaints, loooonngg wear, quiet running and are probably what I'm going with when time to buy for my truck. Put some of the Fortera HL's on the Envoy, one step down from the Triple Tread and they have been great. Goodyear may not make a good slick for Indy but make a good street tire. wishminewasanss
Goodyear has good street tires, but some tires are too soft and wear out quick, but the forteras are great. The customers I haved installed these tires are satisfied, mostly GM's: hoes, denalis, suburbans, and also some silverados. I sometimes get people come for rotations at 10k miles and no tire wear or any road problems that can make the tire wear excessively! Good all season tire, triple tread technology on this tire: 1. For snow, 2. Dry cond., 3. And of course wet conditions.technology these tires have are amazing! Smooth ride, and the reinforced sidewall is awesome, so u don't have 2 worry if u hit a curb and mess up ur wall. Oh the most awesome part is the badazz tread!! Its looks like paw print. The fortera HL is good also but I would get the triple tred instead! P.S. Oh if you have a sam's club mem. You get like 50 bucks rebate! I know this cause Iam the supervisor at my sams club tire shop. These tires can get pricey after the 17" size though.
FireRescueSS
Tirerack.com has them ranked 1 of 66 in the highway all season class. That high rating in the snow/ice traction is awfully appealing, don't need anymore $5K body repairs!
FireRescueSS
Placed my order for these tires, still may be a month or two before installing (TRYING to hold off til winter). I'll let you know of my verdict, and thanks everyone for input on these particular tires.
IFISH2
Put a set of the Fortera Triple Treads on 04 SS and love them. Fantastic wet perfromance. Can't report on snow yet but they should be awesome. Con is they are a little pricey.
