Gas Prices Go Crazy High And The Bs Begins

It just seems crazy to me. Are our supply chains stretched that thin? It just seems that the mere threat of a hurricane in the gulf jucks the prices up 10-50 cents a gallon. I know this is a big hurricane, and I'm not downplaying it, butI would think that oil companies would have a contingency plan in place for these situations. It's not a matter of if a big storm hits, but when.

You'd think they would wouln't you, kind of like the old adage "Live & Learn"? I doubt that this is the first hurricane that has hit them and I doubt it will be the last!

Geez, we're $3.87 here for 87, still over $4 for 92 and that is not because of the hurricane. :nonod:

I was out doing a few things today and passed 6 gas stations, all but two were OUT of gas. Those two only had preimum. I paid $3.83 for my fill up.

Word is that most station around here are out of regular.

I am praying that this will not last long.

Wow.

Just got V Power 93 from Shell and it was $3.89, it went up 10 cents over the weekend here.

edit-forgot to say I saw a special on tv and they said we can expect to see $3 gasoline (87 octane) or right above that next spring or summer. Too far away to believe right now...
