haul@ss Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Raise it as in an inch higher or replace it with the stock shackles again? Are your shackles even adjustable? Let us know exactly what you want to do and what you have to make it easier for us to help you Quote
04CHASE Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 if you look at them and they are adjustable its pretty self explanitory. remove bolt, lower spring and replace bolt. Quote
murguia68 Posted September 16, 2008 Author Report Posted September 16, 2008 Yes there are adjustable, they have 4 different settings, what i want to know is , I have to raise the back off the ground then raise the rear end to release the pressure in the leaf's? How do i know when the pressure is released, or do i even need to do all this? Nick Quote
dubdaddy420 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Put the rear of the truck up on jack stands(under the frame on each side), then take a floor jack to put underneath the diff using the floor jack go up till the bolt's will just pull out. Dont forget to chalk the front wheels. Quote
kelleyperformance Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 they belltech shackles im guessing...? they are not adjustable, the extra holes are decoration. i mean technically the second set of holes could be used but its not designed for it or recomended. if you dont believe me, ask belltech if they are some other form of shackles, then disregard what i said lol Quote
murguia68 Posted September 16, 2008 Author Report Posted September 16, 2008 thanks for the help guys Quote
