BlkSSnCpt
will the check engine light come on with no cat the truck has the dynateck long tube and their cats right now yeah the check engine light will come on but u can tune the o2's out. is ur truck tuned already??? if not once u install ur cut-out and if u choose to delete the rear o2's just have ur truck tuned(or re-tuned) and have the cats deleted in ur tune. -Rob

70chevy03ss
I ran mine side by side under the pass side. you can go before the cats but you will throw codes and it looks like a lot of work.
Oo p0op oO
the truck has a hypertec programer right now sell that ASAP and get a mail order tune....def. worth the $...and you get the 02 sensors disabled....just tell your tuner what you want
BlkSSnCpt
the truck has a hypertec programer right now well for those who still have their cats they install them after the cats. im not sure if the hypertec can do a cat delete but if u choose to delete them u'll throw codes and if u install them before the cats the truck will throw codes also. u shoulod really get a custom efi-live or hptuners tune from someone, I'm sure there's someone with-in driving distance from u who does tuning. u should look in to it... -Rob
kissfans03ss
Guys, alot of you are talkin about deleting but when it comes time for emissions does your state inspect to see if you still have all your smog eguiptment ?.In Ct. a few years back they put mirrors under every vehicle and checked to see if you were running cats but lately you just go to a certified garage and have them sniff the exhaust. Jaymz
Im runnin a wheatley tune, rear o2s deleted, cats were cutout and replaced with 3 inch, straight back into cutouts angled out towards curb right behind passenger cab, then behind those are flowmater 50s. I lost only 1 hp with the cutouts open, but the trq had a way better curve to it. Sounds amazing WOT with them open... but amazing to me is most likely to loud for most. IMO if your gonna do cutouts, might aswell get rid of the cats if your state will allow it. otherwise your not really getting much just bypassing mufflers, they flow well enough. Just gonna get a hellova lot louder
